Who are we?
Founded in the middle of 2019, we are a local business based in Oxfordshire who handmakes wax wraps which can be used as an alternative to cling film.
Our Goal:
Help to reduce the amount of single-use plastic in our lives.
In the UK alone, we use hundreds of thousands of miles of cling film every single year, and as it doesn't decompose, it is left to continuously pile up in landfill sites and to pollute our oceans.
Our wax wraps can be reused again and again approximately for a year. If 100 people used one of our 25cm x 35cm wraps everyday for a year, instead of 365 pieces of cling film of the same size, it would stop over five miles of this single-use plastic from being wasted. Whilst it may not seem like a lot, if everyone UK made this simple switch, it would have a huge impact!
